A friend asked me about my beliefs and I hesitated because I truly do not know yet what it is I believe. I do believe that the act of having an ideal, a framework, for existence is important for our brains to process information in a healthy way, regardless of it's truth. That ideal should be beneficial to you and those around you. The ideal I resonate with most, as of now, is the idea of humanity being interconnected.
"So you are Bhuddist," he said.
I haven't done enough research into Bhuddism, but from a few YouTube videos it seems that a strong principle of Bhuddism is to eliminate desire.
I like my desires.
I desire a better life. Some might say this might be analogous to say I desire suffering. But I think a line should be drawn between actively desiring suffering and radically accepting suffering as a byproduct. This byproduct _can_ be minimized.
So for now:
I desire to be successful.
I desire to be prosperous.
I desire to bring that prosperity to those I love.
And this desire creates movement and energy within me.
